We were asked to write, for our postgraduate yearbook, our dream. This is what I wrote for my entry:
My dream: Personally, to be a citizen of the world and travel through, if not live in, all continents of the world; to retire along the Bosphorus in Istanbul or the Great Ocean Road in Melbourne; and to fulfill my parents’ own dreams and give them the best years of their lives. Professionally, to work with the United Nations Multimedia, Radio, Photo and Television team in New York, or with Al Jazeera English channel station; and to pay it forward and set up an education foundation for lifelong learning.
